Pet of the Week
Pet of the Week
The Fulton County Pets of the Week initiative, in partnership with the Fulton County Animal Services Facility, is a dedicated effort designed to promote pet adoption and enhance awareness of the animals seeking forever homes. This initiative serves a dual purpose: not only does it highlight specific pets each week, but it also fosters a deeper understanding of the responsibilities and joys associated with pet ownership.
By featuring a diverse array of pets- from playful puppies to mature dogs and affectionate cats—the initiative showcases each animal's unique personalities and qualities, making it easier for individuals and families to envision their future companions.
There’s no better time to find your purr-fect companion! From Friday, November 28, through Sunday, December 7, all adoptions from Fulton County Animal Services will be free! That goes for all dogs and cats in the shelter and those currently in foster homes. Check out the hundreds available at www.fultonanimalservices.com/adopt.
Shelter adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

Bonez is a curious and playful boy who enjoys taking in the world one gentle sniff at a time. Bonez loves his toys and is happiest when he has something fun to engage with. When meeting other dogs, he did very well-offering play bows and enjoying friendly interactions. If other dogs weren't interested in playing, Bonez was perfectly content doing his own thing, calmly exploring the yard and sniffing around.
While we're still getting to know him, one thing is certain: this handsome guy is ready for a home where he can explore, play, and ideally share life with a canine friend who enjoys companionship and fun just as much as he does.

Captain Kid is a handsome, one-year-old boy with medium energy who walks nicely on leash and absolutely loves treats. He's always happy to soak up snuggles and body scratches and is just as content chilling out with his people as he is learning something new.
Captain already knows sit and does well when introduced to new commands, showing how eager he is to learn. Could you be the one Captain Kid is waiting for?

Winter is an affectionate girl who adores being close to her people. She's easy to handle, loves treats, and melts into pets and attention. During her photo shoot, she enjoyed some floor-time cuddles and showed off her perfect sit. In the play yard, Winter is a joyful burst of energy.
She loves running around, hopping up on the bench, and exploring every corner. Once she gets her zoomies out, she settles in nicely for a walk. She prefers a faster pace and did wonderfully on a harness. This sweet, loving girl is a perfect mix of fun and cuddles - an easy companion who just wants to be near you. Winter is ready to bring warmth, excitement, and affection into her forever home!
