Frequently Asked Questions
What's involved in a Home Visit?
During the home visit, Parent Educators will assess your family’s needs and partner with you to set family goals.
Parent Educators share child development information and ideas based on the child’s age and discuss parent concerns to ensure that parents are confident in the emotional, behavioral and physical development of their children.
Each Home Visit will focus on three areas:
- Increasing a parent’s knowledge of their child’s development to enhance interactions.
- Increasing a parent’s awareness and skill to implement responsive parenting behaviors.
