PERINATAL CASE MANAGEMENT
Nurses provide counsel and education on pregnancy and put expectant mothers in touch with community programs and resources such as WIC. We assist clients with Medicaid concerns and provide referrals for women who are high-risk pregnancies.
Perinatal Case Management services are available at College Park Regional Health Center.
PREGNANCY TESTING
Offered on a walk-in basis during clinic hours Monday–Friday. Family Planning patients are offered a sliding fee. Proof of income and ID required for Family Planning patients. The nurse provides medical documentation of pregnancy if the test is positive and offers prenatal counseling and referral follow-up pregnancy service.
Pregnancy Testing services are available at the following health centers: Adamsville, Center for Health and Rehabilitation, College Park, Neighborhood Union, and N. Fulton Regional.
MEDICAID PRESUMPTIVE ELIGIBILITY
This type of Medicaid provides immediate financial assistance for prenatal care. Prenatal women who meet the eligibility criteria are assisted to get started with medical care while waiting for final determination of eligibility for full Medicaid coverage by the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS).
Medicaid Presumptive Eligibility services are available at the following health centers: Adamsville, Center for Health and Rehabilitation, College Park, and Neighborhood Union.
REFUGEE HEALTH SCREENING
We provide health screening for refugees at our North Fulton Regional Health Center and our College Park Regional Health Center and refer them to resources for follow up care.
SUPPLEMENTAL SECURITY INSURANCE -- SSI DISABILITY SCREENING
A walk-in service provided to clients with disabilities who need assistance in applying for SSI benefits.
Supplemental Security Insurance services are available at the following health centers: Adamsville, College Park, Neighborhood Union, and North Fulton Regional.
TRAVEL HEALTH CONSULTATION
We offer travel health consultation to enhance your awareness of health risks when you travel internationally. We’ll review your immunization history, bringing adults up to date for other vaccines as well as review your travel plans, and assess your risk for acquiring vaccine-preventable diseases and advise you regarding the vaccines needed to protect you from these diseases.
The Travel Health Services are only available at the College Park Regional Health Center and the N. Fulton Regional Health Center.
