Georgia has launched a new mental health hotline. If you or anyone in your family is suffering from emotional distress or having a suicide crisis, you can now take the steps to transformed crisis care by dialing the new 988 24-hour suicide and crisis lifeline. According to Behavioral Health Program Manager Erika Williams-Walker, "The 988 line is a way to connect people who are in a crisis to a trained counselor who can address their immediate needs and help connect them to ongoing care."
