Fulton's senior population now have greater access to home delivered meals, transportation, in-home services, and more thanks to grant funds given to the County Senior Services Division. These programs whether grant funded or funded by taxpayer dollars are extremely important to seniors because their desire is to successfully age in place, maintain independence to the greatest extent possible, and avoid premature institutionalization. The Department of Senior Services has been working diligently with internal team member, internal partners, and external affairs to bring awareness to some programs and services of which senior caregivers or the community may not be aware.
