In observance of the New Year holiday, all Fulton County Government offices and the Government Center, will be closed on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, Thursday, January 1, and Friday, January 2, 2026. Normal operations will resume on Monday, January 5, 2026. Public safety services are available 24/7.

District 3 Commissioner Dana Barrett introduced a solution supporting Georgia's latest hate crime legislation. House Bill 30 would create an official definition of anti-Semitism and could aid in the prosecution of hate crimes. Hear more from District 3 Commissioner Dana Barrett. Unfortunately though Georgia did pass a hate crime bill in 2020, it didn't specifically include anti-Semitism. So occasionally just because of the way Jewishness is, some of the acts that we know if we listen to them are anti-Semitic sort of fall through the cracks of hate crime law. Commissioner Barrett's resolution passed unanimously.
