Hundreds of people gather along Peachtree Street to share in the unveiling of the official Xernona Clayton Statue. The Civil Rights advocate and broadcast television pioneer was recognized by elected officials and other civil leaders on International Women's Day. The statue for Ms. Clayton is the latest lasting tribute in her honor. She also has a street, a school, and a foundation that bear her name.
