                            Second Annual Community Resource Fair Kicks Off May Mental Health Awareness Month
Fulton County’s Chief Magistrate Judge Cassandra Kirk, State Court Judge Patsy Y. Porter, and Program Coordinator Georgee Corley will host the Community Resource Fair with Justice Partners and Community Providers. The free, public event will include the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Fulton Behavioral Health Network, The Dharma Project, Automotive Training Center, and other wellness providers.
“We are very excited to bring back our Community Resource Fair for a second year,” said Chief Magistrate Judge Cassandra Kirk. “We see community members struggling with issues in our courtroom every day and with some help from local service providers, we can help them get to a better place and become fully involved citizens.”
The event will occur as follows:
1 p.m.- 4 p.m. Exhibitor Tables – Representatives from community organizations, justice partners, and providers will share information as they interact with invitees and visitors.
1:30 p.m. - 3:30 pm Open Microphone Presentations – Timing remains tentative and includes but is not limited to: Welcome and Introductions, Mental Health in Georgia Update, Physical Activity (Zumba, Yoga, Art), Music and Fun.
