Commissioner Arrington Announces Dates for Annual “It Takes A Village” School Supply Giveaway

July 03, 2023
The annual event helps families and students with supplies and book scholarships.

Fulton County District 5 Commissioner Marvin S. Arrington, Jr. is hosting his 9th Annual “It Takes a Village” Back-to-School Supply Giveaway to kick off the 2023-2024 school year. In partnership with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Peach State Health Plan, Amazon, and Friends of Wolf Creek, there will be 3 events to ensure District 5 students have the tools needed to assist with their learning.

“This is an event that my office looks forward to each year,” said Commissioner Arrington. “This is the 9th year that we have come together to help students get ready to return to school.
