A new pilot program to install automated water meters in North Fulton will help the Department of Public Works to monitor the system for leaks and irregularities. Hear more form Water Distribution System Manager Josh Van Horn. What we're super excited about is AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) and what that gives us is full automation. We're going to perform a pilot and basically have a small AMI program for just those meters and that'll help us understand what AMI looks like and then whether or not we want to use that moving forward. More good news for residents: customers can monitor their own water usage and manage their budget.
