Fulton County Celebrates National Customer Service Week 2023

The theme of ‘Team Service’ will be a vital part in this year’s celebration of the Fulton County’s customer service professionals.
Fulton County is counting down to the start of National Customer Service Week 2023. Known for continuously providing excellent customer service, the county will celebrate its customer service professionals October 2 – 6.
“Our commitment to customer service excellence can be seen in everything that we do,” said Fulton County Manager Dick Anderson. “Fulton County integrates consistent, courteous, and accurate quality service into everyday performance. Everything from kiosks, a customer information desk, and a dedicated call center have helped to set a new standard for customer service in local government.”
“We provide the highest quality of service because we know that our customers are like any consumer, they expect the best,” said Customer Service Division led Brigitte Bailey. “The Customer Service Department is a team that works non-stop to ensure that each customer we come in contact with is always a top priority.”
Recognition of the county’s customer service professionals will include a weeklong celebration filled with many fun-filled activities. Some of those include Customer Service Pop-Ups throughout various county offices and a Fulton County Trivia Contest where employees will be eligible to win grab bags filled with Fulton County swag.
The week will end on Friday, October 6, with an invitation only Customer Service Legend Luncheon. This event honors those employees who have been recognized throughout the year as high performing customer service professionals who have consistently demonstrated exceptional service to Fulton County citizens and employees.
National Customer Service Week received an official proclamation by the U.S. Congress in 1992 to help recognize the importance of good customer service along with those committed to providing it every day. The Fulton County Board of Commissioners first recognized National Customer Service Week, which is celebrated annually the first week in October, in 2017 as a means to demonstrate and reinforce its commitment to providing exceptional service to the citizens it serves.
In Fulton County, the Customer Service Division serves as the main information hub for Fulton County’s service offerings and contacts, researches and resolves customer complaints, assists customers who need information in a language other than English, offers communication services for the hearing impaired, and provides notary services for customers conducting official Fulton County business.
