Cedric Smith's "This is Us" solo art exhibit is in session at the Emma Darnell Aviation Museum and Conference Center. Hear more from the painter/artist Cedric Smith. This exhibit is sort of a retrospect about it being a retrospect. I wanted to show some of the older paintings and then show them my progression and where I'm at to this day. I'm hoping that people get something out of this in the sense that makes them want to go home and study more or research more. I'm still learning myself and I'm just wondering how many other people are here who don't know about the contributions or the lineage blacks in America.
