Happening in Fulton: Emergency Preparedness Drill

The Atlanta Regional Homeland Security Commission staged a full-scale emergency preparedness drill at the abandoned Nights Inn on Fulton Industrial Boulevard. Fulton County Police, Atlanta Fulton County Emergency Management, and their Public Safety counterparts practice their response to a terrorist attack. Volunteers played the roles of victims complete with special effect makeup to bring realism to the mass casualties drill. Drills like these help emergency responders from different agencies work together as seamlessly as possible to keep teams on their toes ahead of any real life incidents.
