District 6 Commissioner Khadijah Abdur-Rahman was on hand for the tree lighting at the Harriet G. Darnell Senior Facility. Commissioner Khadijah coordinated a toy drive to bring joy to children, an effort close to her heart and to provide relief for parents in the mighty 6. We want to make sure that the seniors in the senior community who are caretakers or who are raising or helping to raise the young kids in the community, have an opportunity to have toys for them.
