Fulton County to Host Behavioral Health Online Forum

Fulton County to Host Behavioral Health Online Forum

March 11, 2024
The Fulton County Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) will host an online forum to highlight the 2023 performance of the Fulton County Behavioral Health Network on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The public is invited to watch this livestream event & learn about comprehensive behavioral health services that are available to all Fulton County residents, and ever-expanding opportunities for citizens to access care, regardless of income or insurance status.

The Fulton County Behavioral Health Network provides behavioral health services to adults & children who live in Fulton County, particularly those residents who do not have insurance coverage.

Fulton County Behavioral Health Network partners include:

• River Edge Behavioral Health

• Chris 180, Inc.

• The Summit Counseling Center, Inc.

• Grady Health System

• Georgia Hope

• Step Up on Second Street

• Women on the Rise

In addition, we will highlight The Policing Alternatives & Diversion Initiative (www.atlantapad.org), which is funded by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners. This innovative program reduces the arrest & incarceration of people experiencing extreme poverty, problematic substance use, or mental health concerns, and increases the accessibility of supportive services in Fulton County.

The forum will discuss upcoming initiatives & receive community feedback or recommendations on service delivery and perceived service gaps to better expand access to care. Fulton County partners and community members may watch the live stream of the forum via zoom.
