Fulton Fresh held a Mobile Market session at New Springfield Baptist Church. Hear more from Fulton UGA Cooperative Extension Lazavia Grier. We provide free produce to the community of Fulton. So we did fresh corn salad; corn is actually in season in Georgia and that's why it was picked. It's one of our ten Fulton Fresh recipes. It has corn, cucumbers, tomatoes, and then we added feta cheese on top. Of course we tell people make it how they make it at home, but this is just a sample. We have two five-week summer sessions. We go out to different sites; we do six sites a week. We provide produce to each participant as long as they come to our nutrition education lesson. We also have a fall session coming up as well, but this is one of our summer sessions.
