Fulton County Mourns Loss of Public Works Colleague

Fulton County is deeply saddened by the loss of Mr. William “Will” Wilson on Monday, September 9, 2024. Mr. Wilson served Fulton County for more than 8 years as a Senior Crew Supervisor in the Fulton County Department of Public Works. Mr. Wilson passed away following a work accident on Monday, September 9.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Janet Coats Wilson, daughter Lee Bradley, two grandchildren and many friends and coworkers. He loved spending time outdoors, and especially enjoyed fishing.

“The Fulton County family is mourning the loss of a beloved friend and colleague,” said Chairman Pitts. “Our hearts are with the Wilson family as well as our entire Public Works team during this difficult time.”

The Funeral Service for William Ray Wilson will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 1 p.m. at The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 2089 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30307. (The Church entrance is off of East Lake Drive.) A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
