Vice Chair Khadijah Abdur-Rahman received an appointment to serve on three committees with the National Association of Counties: Community Economic and Workforce Development, Arts and Culture, and the Large Urban County Caucus. Additionally the Vice Chair was elected Chairperson of the Southeastern Regional NACo Women. Hear more from District 6 Vice Chair Khadijah Abdur-Rahman. My leadership role with NACo women will allow me to find best practices and put our imprint on NACo. I'm very excited to be able to sit at the table with other leaders in other communities for best practices.
