Fulton County’s Day 1 Advance Voting Participation Sets New Record

More than 35,000 registered voters in Fulton County casted their ballots on Tuesday, October 15.

Early voting began in Fulton County on Tuesday, October 15. At the end of the day, 39,951 voters had cast their ballots at 38 locations – the highest ever turnout for Day 1 Early Voting in Fulton County.

Since November 2016, Fulton County’s voter participation for the first day of Advance Voting has more than doubled.

“The Department of Registrations and Elections anticipated that Advance Voting for the 2024 November 5 General Election would see historic participation,” said Elections Director Nadine Williams. “We are prepared and will remain vigilant to ensure that all voters are able to easily exercise their right to vote.”

Fulton County is providing a total of 44 polling locations for voters interested in casting their ballot early. Of that total, 37 will be available to voters for the full 18-day advance voting period. Advance voting will be available daily through Friday, November 1.
