Fulton County Arts & Culture Unveils the “Embracing our Heritage: Revealed in Art” Exhibit

The Fulton County Department of Arts & Culture is excited to announce the upcoming exhibition, "Embracing Our Heritage: Revealed in Art," which will showcase contemporary works by artists of the collective African Americans for the Arts. The exhibition is set to open on February 1, 2025, and will run through February 28, 2025, at the Emma Darnell Aviation Museum and Conference Center, 3900 Aviation Circle, NW, Atlanta, GA 30336.

This powerful exhibition will highlight the concerns, confrontations, and life experiences of modern-day artists of African descent. The works on display reflect a range of perspectives, offering insight into the artistic expressions and narratives that define the current cultural landscape.

The exhibit is free and open to the public, with gallery viewing available during the following hours:

  • Tuesday - Friday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • By Appointment
