Saul Alter

Deputy Chief Investigator, Civil Rights Division
Saul is a native of Los Angeles and moved to Atlanta where he began his career in law enforcement during the 1996 Olympics.

Saul has had numerous assignments including Bike Patrol at GSUPD, Investigator in the Major Case Division at Fulton County DA's Office, Investigator in the Nevada Attorney General's Office, Gang Investigator and Task Force Officer (DEA) with East Point Police, and DA Investigator in Paulding and Griffin Judicial Circuits.

Saul considers one of his greatest investigative accomplishments to be a 46 defendant RICO Indictment of the Rollin 20's Neighborhood Bloods Gang in 2020.

Saul was excited to rejoin the Fulton County DA's Office in March 2021. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and is bilingual (Spanish). He enjoys spending time with his three adult children, doing nature photography, and biking.
