Partrena Baker was born and raised in Evergreen, Alabama. She earned both an Associate of Science and an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice from Jefferson Davis Community College. She later received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Corrections from Troy University.
Lt. Baker began her law enforcement career more than twenty-three years ago. She has served as a Parole Officer, Juvenile Probation Officer, and Community Supervision Officer. Most of her career has been with the Fulton County Police Department, where she was promoted to Corporal and then to Detective. She has investigated a wide range of cases, including domestic violence, burglaries, robberies, aggravated assaults, and homicides.
She joined the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office in 2019. Since then, she has been assigned to the Trial Division, the Special Victims Division, and the High Profile Plus Unit. She is the recipient of both the Superstar Award and the Pursuit of Justice Award. Lt. Baker is currently assigned to the Brenda Baham Domestic Violence Division, where she continues to demonstrate her commitment to justice and public service. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the world.
