M. Felipe' Brown is a 33 year veteran of law enforcement in the metropolitan Atlanta area. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Fort Valley State University and a Master's Degree in Divinity from Duke University. Felipe' began his career as a Parole Officer and was promoted to Senior Parole Officer. He then served as the Lead Investigator in the Special Investigations Unit, a branch of Internal Affairs, with the Department of Corrections. He was afforded the opportunity to work with the DEA task force HIDTA(High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area) for several years. He has spent the latter part of his career in the Major Crimes Division and holds certifications in Protection Security Operations and Tactical Medical for First Responders.
Felipe' has spent several years with the Fulton County District Attorney's Office and has investigated numerous high-profile cases as well as served on the Burglary Task Force. He has been promoted to Lieutenant Investigator in the Major Crimes Division and has received an array of commendations for his dedicated service to the citizens of Georgia. He is a member of the Georgia Association of the Chiefs of Police, the Georgia Association of Internal Affairs, the National Association of Internal Affairs, a member of the National Youth Coaches Association, Big Brothers/Big Sister's and a member of Foundation Lodge #592 P.H.A.
