Mike Sprinkel is an attorney with more than ten years of experience in both litigation and pre-indictment investigations. In addition to handling courtroom litigation on hundreds of serious violent felony cases, Mike has also served as the lead investigative Attorney on hundreds of cases, primarily involving homicide. Mike graduated from the Georgia State University College of Law and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Public Policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Mike’s primary area of expertise is in complex pre-indictment investigations involving serious violent felony offenses. Before joining District Attorney Fani Willis’ administration, Mike served as a law clerk for approximately two years at the general practice firm of Begner & Begner, P.C. In this capacity he drafted motions and conducted legal research on various matters in both the civil and criminal realm. In 2010, he worked as an attorney advocate for the Georgia Refugee Policy Initiative. This involved attending committee meetings at the Georgia State Capitol and counseling the legislators on the Constitutionality of various proposed immigration reform Bills.
The Office of the Fulton County District Attorney has recognized Mike’s diligence and investigative fidelity over the years. In 2014, he received the “Major Case Rookie of the Year” award, and in 2018 he received the “Major Case Attorney of the Year” award. Fulton County is Mike’s home and he intends to serve the people of this County for many years to come.
