Deputy Chief – Case Intake Division Non-Complex and Complex Cases
Fred Glenn, Jr. brings more than 27 years of law enforcement and criminal justice experience to his role as Assistant Chief Investigator of Major Crimes in the Office of the Fulton County District Attorney. Before joining the Executive Leadership Team, he served as a senior investigator and investigator for five years in the District Attorney’s Office. He was responsible for supporting the prosecution of felony criminal cases by investigating major crimes including interviewing suspects, victims, and witnesses; drafting and executing search warrants; requesting and serving subpoenas; and participating in assignments including surveillance, raids, and arrests.
Fred was recognized as Investigator of the Year in 2019 and has a strong record of professional achievement and partnerships. Before joining the District Attorney’s Office, he served as an officer of the Atlanta Police Department, Georgia State University Police Department, and Atlanta Public Schools. He also has held senior criminal justice roles with the Florida Department of Corrections and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. He is a proud graduate of Florida A&M University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He also holds an Associate in Arts degree from Tallahassee Community College.
