Fulton County Executive Airport at Brown Field (FTY) is a general aviation airport serving many of metro Atlanta's premier corporate clients.
Fulton County Executive Airport is the third-busiest airport in metro Atlanta and one of only two airports in the area with a 24/7 control tower.
Fulton County Airport-Brown Field plays a vital role in supporting the region with 1,230 jobs with an annual payroll of $75.2 million and $198.6 million in economic output for the local and regional economies.
Operational Facts:
- Fulton County Airport includes 985 acres with an air traffic control tower and fire station, manned 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- The primary runway is 5,796 feet long and is complimented by a full parallel taxiway and a precision instrument landing system for operation during bad weather. One additional visual runway is available for aircraft operations as well.
- Two fixed-base operators provide transient and base customers fuel and maintenance:
- Approximately 79,000 annual operations (take-off or landing)
- Approximately 164 daily operations
