Thank you for your interest in joining the Fulton County Elections Team.
Fulton County operates over 175 election day locations distributed throughout the county to accommodate all voting precincts. Election Day poll workers must attend in-person training, assistant with setup of the polling site prior to Election Day, and work for the duration of Election Day. Election Day poll workers must:
- Have a willingness to serve
- Must be a United States citizen
- Be at least 16 years of age
- All positions must be willing to work from 5 a.m. to approximately 11 p.m. on Election Day
- Read and write the English language
- Be a Fulton County resident or receive a signed poll worker employment waiver from an adjacent county. Click here for the adjacent counties map.
All Election Day poll workers are required to participate in in-person training prior to each General Election. Poll Workers are paid for completing training if they complete their Election Day tour of duty. All poll worker positions are considered sequestered Poll Officers.
Following are the Election Day poll worker positions and duties:
- Poll Manager – Oversees the operation and implementation of the voting process in an assigned precinct. Conducts supply pick-up the Sunday prior to Election Day and reports to their election night check-in location after the polls close
- Assistant Manager – Responsible for assisting the poll manager with all work duties and assists with managing the operational activities of the polling location
- Clerk – Acts in the capacity of a greeter, operates the Poll Pad, maybe assigned to assist voters at the scanner, and/or assigned to assist voters on exiting the polling location
- Line Monitor –greets and assist voters while monitoring the exterior of the polling site
