The Public Art Futures Lab is currently searching for four Artisan residents for their 2025 Artist Residency Program supported by Marta Downtown and Atlanta Downtown. Hear more from Arts Education Coordinator Kathleen Brown. These artist residencies are 14 week stays in our flexible studio space in Underground Atlanta. Each selected artist will receive support from staff at the Futures Lab to mount exhibitions, to have community engagement opportunities that support their creative journey with arts and tech. The Public Art Futures Lab is an arts and tech initiative for the Fulton County Arts and Culture Public Art Division. We are focused on democratizing access to tech infused art. Each of these 14 week residencies has a 3 week crossover with the incoming artists and residents. That's really to give these artists the opportunity to peer-to-peer learn, to share their perspective on what the residency was like, and really build our network of artists working in this art and tech field. We will be taking applications for the 2025 Residency Program through February 7th. All of the eligibility requirements and information about how to apply are on our website.
