While most Fulton County poll workers are Fulton County residents, Georgia law also allows residents from adjoining counties to serve as poll workers.
Adjacent counties include: Carroll, Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Douglass, Fayette, Forsyth and Gwinnett.

Per Senate Bill 202, an approved and signed poll worker employment waiver must be received from the adjacent county before consideration for employment can be reviewed.
