Kudonna Porter

Kudonna Porter is a proud Atlanta native, born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. She is a devoted mother of six and a dedicated public servant with a strong commitment to justice and community empowerment.

Kudonna began her career with the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office in September 2023, serving in the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) before transitioning to the Trial Division in 2024. Her diverse background in criminal justice and community advocacy has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the legal system from multiple perspectives.

Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, Kudonna served as a Probation Officer with Judicial Correction Services for the City of Atlanta, where she gained valuable firsthand experience in court operations and community supervision. She also worked with the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, supporting individuals in eviction court and assisting those experiencing homelessness in securing employment and stable housing. Additionally, she contributed her expertise at the Georgia Department of Labor, helping clients strengthen their résumés, obtain sustainable employment, and achieve long-term stability for themselves and their families.

Kudonna holds both an Associate and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Bauder College (2006–2010). She earned her Master’s degree from Colorado Technical University in 2025 and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Keiser University.

Her academic achievements, combined with extensive hands-on experience in legal support and community service, position her to serve effectively as Chief Legal Assistant and to make meaningful contributions to the mission of the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.
