Tywanna Settles-Isby

Originally from Arkansas, Chief Legal Assistant Tywanna Settles-Isby has lived in Atlanta for 26 years. Before joining the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, she worked as a Network Operations Technician with Intelliverse Telecommunications, LLC, for 10 years, where she also served as the Assistant Team Leader of her division. During this time, she developed skills in case management, conflict resolution, attention to detail, and client communication, all of which she has successfully incorporated into her role at the District Attorney’s Office.

Additionally, Tywanna is a certified behavioral specialist, having worked with juveniles to help manage disruptive behavior.

With 16 years of experience in the criminal justice field, she began her studies at Louisiana Tech University and completed her degree at Clayton State University, earning a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. In 2010, she joined the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, where she spent 10 years working in what was then the Complaint Room, now known as Case Intake.

Under the administration of District Attorney Fani T. Willis, Tywanna has worked in three divisions: Trial (Complex), Special Victims, and Anti-Corruption.
